Maruti is giving tyre press monitor as optional feature to all its cars that can be chosen by customers across all dealers in India. Three models of new Swift, Dzire and Brezza can be customized per your taste through Icreation customization option. The tire monitoring system monitors air pressure in all 4 wheels and alerts the driver in case it is down. This optional feature can be bought for 12900 rupees. This system will have 4 sensors on each wheel and will show the pressure of air in the tires live so that driver can keep an eye on it and even adjust it according to the roads. When the pressure is more due to heat, the car should be stopped till it cools down as over pressure may result in tire burst.
Opinion: Maruti is coming up with additional safety features for the customers. It is already providing many basic safety features in all models, this safety feature though is an optional one across all models.
