Left Edition Coupe and Convertible from Mercedes


Mercedes-AMG has launched the GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ and SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ in the country. Both the limited edition models get several cosmetic updates to the exterior design. This is priced at Rs. 1.02 core and the SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ carries a price tag of Rs. 87.48 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (India). Only 25 units of both the limited edition models are allotted for the Indian market. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ features orange highlights on the lower part of the front and rear bumper. The 21-inch black alloy wheels also get the orange detailing. The coupe also features LED headlights with black LED rings.

The interior also features orange accents with the black nap leather seat upholstery. The seats get orange and grey cross-stitching. Other features include AMG branding and orange finished floor mat and door panels. Similar to the OrangeArt, the SLC 43 RedArt edition also gets red highlights on the front and rear bumper and 18-inch alloy wheels. The brake calipers are also finished in red color. The cabin also features red accents with carbon-fiber-like finishing with leather embossing. Both models draw power from a 3-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine producing 361bhp and 520Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The coupe is offered with a four-wheel-drive configuration while the SLC 43 is a rear-wheel-drive car.

Mercedes introduced various exterior updates for a distinctive look with sporty feel. This is the second launch from Mercedes-AMG after launching the E 63 S 4Matic in the Indian market.

Lexus LX 570 released in India at 2.32 crores

Lexus has launched the LX 570 SUV in the Indian market. The Lexus LX 570 is priced at Rs 2.32 crore ex-showroom (India). Lexus has also commenced the bookings for the LX 570 across all the dealerships in the country. Globally, the Lexus LX 570 is the flagship SUV from the company and is introduced as the high end model in India. It is based on the same ladder-on-frame platform which also underpins the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. The Lexus LX 570 sports distinctive looks due to its unique design elements when compared to others.

The SUV features sharp styling with signature spindle grille, flared wheel arches, bulbous proportions, LED headlamps and wraparound LED tail lights. The overall design of the Lexus LX 570 is butch and thanks to the unique design elements of Lexus, the SUV stands out from others. It has features like dual-tone theme with soft-touch material and leather seat upholstery. The cabin is equipped with a 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system, automatic climate control with 14 sensors and Mark Levinson audio system with 19 speakers. Other features include wireless charging, heads-up display, cool seats and rear entertainment with 11.6-inch LCD display for rear passengers and ambient lighting. The Lexus LX 570 is a seven-seater SUV with a foldable third row for extra boot space for extra luggage.

It is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine producing 362bhp and 530Nm of torque. It is faster than the Lexus LX 450d and can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 7.7 seconds. It has Multi-terrain Select which adjusts the vehicle’s systems as per the driving conditions. The SUV is also equipped with 5-speed Crawl Control which adjusts the torque and brakes on each wheel during demanding off-roading conditions. Chairman of Lexus India, N Raja said, “The performance and perfection of the 2018 LX embody the highest expression of Lexus engineering and design in an SUV and attracts everyone and will rule the luxury SUV segment in India.”

This company is a partner with Japan’s Toyota Kirloskar. Now, the company is going to give a shock with this SUV to other luxury car markers of Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and Range Rover.
