Railways cash in on Dassara.
We usually see private operators increasing the fares during festive season but now Railways is also doing the same. In a strange increment, South Central Railway upped the platform ticket of Secunderabad railway station. What used to be 10 rupees will be 20 rupees now and will stay in effect till 26th of this month. They defended this raise stating it has been done to control the rush on platforms during the festive season. Meanwhile, Railways is also running a special train between Kachiguda and Kakinada on 21st and 22nd.
Sorry…. Amaravati shouldn’t be another Hyderabad — PK.
Pawan Kalyan pleaded guilty on behalf of his bouncers for their unruly behavior towards media personnel today. It should be noted here that his personal security attacked media persons who went to cover ministers’ invitation to power star. While clarifying, he said that sometimes bouncers have to be rude to stop others who enter the premises along with media people and said that he deeply regrets the incident. He received the invitation from the minister and politely said that though he wishes to be there, his attendance will depend on his film schedule in Gujarat where they are moving after finishing present schedule. He hoped past mistakes are not repeated in capital construction and wished Amaravati not to become another Hyderabad in this regard.
